Why I built the Mantra Society - A letter from our CEO

I built Mantra Society because I wanted to grow, feel better, and still be myself.

For a long time, I felt like the wellness world was asking women to become a completely different person in order to heal. Wake up at 5 a.m. Be perfectly calm. Journal in matching linen. Drink something green. Never swear. Never spiral. Never be complicated.

That just wasn’t me.

I wanted tools that felt supportive, but realistic. I wanted reminders that could fit into real life — the messy, funny, overstimulated, ambitious, emotional version of life that most of us are actually living.

I believe in growth. I believe in mindset. I believe in taking care of yourself. But I also believe you can still have opinions, laugh at yourself, say f*ck, and not pretend you’ve transcended being human.

I couldn’t find a brand that reflected that balance, so I made one.

Mantra Society started with the idea that self-growth doesn’t have to be cringe. It doesn’t have to be performative, overly serious, or wrapped in perfection. Sometimes growth looks like therapy. Sometimes it looks like boundaries. Sometimes it looks like taking a deep breath before reacting. Sometimes it looks like buying a tote bag that says Emotional Baggage and laughing because it’s true.

We make apparel, accessories, and everyday reminders for women who want depth without the pressure. For the girlies who believe… but like, lightly. For the women doing inner work between meetings, school pickup, deadlines, errands, and regular Tuesday chaos.

Mantra Society is also built on intention. Our products are made to order to reduce waste and avoid overproduction. A portion of proceeds supports mental health organizations because mental health isn’t a trend or a talking point — it’s real life, and it matters deeply to me.

At the end of the day, this brand is for women who want to evolve without losing their edge.

You don’t need to become someone else to feel better.
You don’t need to be perfect to grow.
You don’t need to take yourself so seriously to care.

You can be thoughtful and funny. Grounded and chaotic. Spiritual and skeptical. Soft and strong.

You can be all of it.

That’s why I built Mantra Society.
